then automatically measured as it deflates.
- Automatic monitors where once the cuff is fitted to your arm, at the push of a

- Then there are others that are fitted to other parts of your anatomy like your finger or the wrist blood pressure monitors which work automatically to measure your pressure.

regular visits to your Doctor or other health professional, can save your life.
More than one third of Americans have raised blood pressure in one form or another. The tragedy being that fully
one third of the one third have no idea they have hypertension.
What is truly amazing about that is there is no lack of information about who is most likely to be at risk.
- Do you exercise regularly?
- Are you overweight. Calculate your body mass index (BMI) and decide for yourself? You don't have to look
fat to be overweight.
- Are there blood pressure problems or instances of heart disease in your family?
- Are you stressed out?
- Do you smoke cigarettes?
- Are you depressed?
Surely by now that covers most of the population?
If you now consider yourself to be at risk what measures should you take?
First off get checked out by your health care professional.
